We wanted to put wood flooring in our entire main level, about 1000 sq' - the quotes we were getting for inferior flooring were coming back at nearly $13,000 (installation included)! I found Exotic Flooring Direct while browsing samples on ebay. They have a warehouse in the town where I work (Holland, MI) so I called Verne, he invited me to the warehouse to take a look. I was impressed! We bought the Brazilian Walnut (Sucupira) and absolutely love it. My installer couldn't believe the quality I got for such a reasonable price. The milling is excellent, boards are straight and Verne was a pleasure to do business with.

The quality of the wood is excellent and I can't believe that there was only about 3% scrap, maybe less from my project. I was apprehensive about doing business with someone from out of state, I am a conservative Accountant. In the end, I know I got the best value on the market. I will purchase more Brazilian Teak next year to complete my upstairs. I am not an easy customer to please, your timely responses throughout the entire process helped reassure me that I had made the right decision. Thanks again for the quality product!
